What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2026 NFL Draft?
I am a physical defensive back that can also be effective in the box. I feel that I have a good sense of awareness on the field and can anticipate where the ball is going before the play starts. I also think my physicality helps me to contribute as a valuable player on special teams.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
I was fortunate to play for the University of Regina Rams alongside three of my brothers; an experience that shaped not only my love for football but also my character. My older brother now plays in the CFL, and I hope to follow down that same path of pursuing a career in professional football. Watching him transition to a professional league has shown me the level of commitment and intensity it takes to succeed, and I understand the leap in speed, skill, and mental preparation that comes with playing at that level. I believe my strong work ethic, discipline, and passion for the game will prepare me to take on that challenge. I will never take the opportunity to play this sport for granted. If I were given the chance to play football professionally, I would give everything I have, both mentally and physically, to become the best version of myself on and off the field.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
KidSport. I think it is so important for all kids to get the opportunity to play sports, regardless of their financial situation or home life. Sports have taught me so many life lessons, both big and small, so I think it’s super important for everyone to have that opportunity.
Who was your role model?
My older brother Jackson is definitely someone I look up to. He has been very successful in football and in life, and he’s sort of laid out a path for me to follow. He has been very supportive and a great teammate for me over the past couple of years at the U of R and I hope to one day be playing professionally alongside him.
Who is your favorite NFL team?
New Orleans Saints
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
Ryan Mills, he is an outstanding athlete and a good football player. He has just never really had his chance to shine due to his bad luck with injuries.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
When people bite their fork while eating.
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
This is tough because I have had a lot of amazing teachers over the years. But my favourite teacher ever would be Mrs. Gelinas. She was my Phys Ed teacher in high school and I had a lot of fun in her class.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
The hardest moment I’ve had to overcome is when I tore my ACL in the winter of 2022. I was penciled in as the starter during the off-season after only being a special teams player during my first year of eligibility. I was super excited to get the opportunity to start on defence and I worked hard just to have that season taken away from me due to injury. I worked really hard in rehab to come back better and stronger than before, and was able to start in my returning season.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?
My go-to would be Tim Hortons. I would start every morning with a good Tim Hortons coffee and a farmers wrap.
What is your favorite snack food?
Chips and Salsa
What is your degree in?
I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology and Education joint degree with a minor in health and mathematics.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
Sean Taylor
Ed Reed
Luke Kuechly
These guys always knew where the ball was going every single play. They also were extremely physical players. I would love to sit down and just soak up all the information I could from those guys.
What is your biggest weakness?
I would say my biggest weakness is my size. I’ve never been a big guy, and I feel that size is something that a lot of coaches pay attention to at the professional level. Although I may not be as tall as most of the guys on the field, I feel as though my high football IQ, my physicality, physical ability, and my ability to communicate with my defense has allowed me to find success on the football field no matter the opponent.
