The Location Managers Guild International has scouted out a recipient for its 2025 career honor.

Ilt Jones, who worked on such megahits as Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, The Dark Knight Rises and the Transformers franchise is set the Lifetime Achievement Award, which will be presented at the LGMI Awards next month.

His career spanning more than 30 years also includes such movies as Inception, Iron Man 3, Kong: Skull Island, Captain Marvel, Eternal, The Suicide Squad, Heist and Hellboy, along with TV’s The X-Files, Big Love and Carnivàle. He has found shooting sites in Hong Kong, Prague, Greece, Cambodia, Jordan, Egypt and Thailand, among many other exotic locations, and has shot at three Wonders of the World.

“Shutting down streets and blowing things up — that’s my specialty,” Jones said in a statement.

Added Jones: “As has proved the case so often, my life experience during the course of my work has transcended the mere utilitarian execution of my job — I have been so lucky to watch and learn about life as it is lived in so many different parts of the world.”
