The official website of the Kidou Senshi Gundam: Tekketsu no Orphans – Urdr Hunt (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans – Urdr Hunt) spin-off anime announced a new short anime movie for the Tekketsu no Orphans (Iron-Blooded Orphans) television anime on Friday. The short movie, subtitled Makuai no Kusabi (Wedge of Interposition), will premiere in theatres in Japan on October 31.
The website also revealed a tenth anniversary special promotional video and a main visual for the Chiisana Chousensha no Kiseki (Path of the Little Challenger) compilation movie (pictured), which will open alongside Makuai no Kusabi on October 31.
Voice actors Kengo Kawanishi (Kaijuu 8-gou) and Yoshimasa Hosoya (Kumichou Musume to Sewagakari) are reprising as Mikazuki Augus and Orga Itsuka in the short movie, respectively.
Returning staff for the movie at Sunrise include director Tatsuyuki Nagai (Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T), scriptwriter Mari Okada (Hisone to Maso-tan), character designer Michinori Chiba (Kidou Senshi Gundam 00), and music composer Masaru Yokoyama (Kanata no Astra).
The first and second season of the television anime aired in 25 episodes each in Fall 2015 and Fall 2016, respectively. Crunchyroll streamed the anime in English dub and subtitles in multiple languages.
Synopsis
After successfully escorting Kudelia and gaining fame during the conflict over the Arbrau representative election, Tekkadan’s name became known throughout the outer sphere. Upon returning to Mars, they push forward with expanding their organization, even resorting to drastic methods.
Meanwhile, seeing their leader Orga struggle with the unfamiliar responsibilities of his position, Mikazuki and the rest of Tekkadan come up with an idea.
