Neil Magny continues to etch his name into the UFC history books.
Despite never challenging for a title, the 38-year-old Magny has been a perennial contender in the welterweight division for nearly a decade.
‘The Haitian Sensation’ had never lost two fights in a row up until recently, falling to heavy-handed contenders Carlos Prates and Michael Morales last year.
Magny got back on track at UFC Vegas 108 on Saturday, where he made his 35th UFC appearance against a fellow veteran.

Neil Magny TKO’s Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos for 23rd UFC win
Coming off back-to-back losses for the first time since 2013, Magny faced former top-15 contender Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos in his return.
It took Magny two rounds to get to dos Santos, hurting him with a knee on the feet while standing and then mauling him on the canvas with ground and pound for the TKO stoppage.
This was Magny’s 23rd UFC win, the most in UFC welterweight history and the second-most in UFC history (tied with others), just behind Jim Miller at 27.
“Neil Magny is a G for winning like that! Weaponized cardio,” UFC commentator Dominick Cruz wrote on X.
“Do it for the Unc’s!!! Woooo!!” Former UFC champion Aljamain Sterling said of Magny’s win.
Neil Magny could rejoin UFC rankings after UFC Vegas 108
Magny stayed in the top 15 welterweight rankings for nearly a decade.
The American exited the rankings shortly after back-to-back losses to Morales and Prates. Magny has fought some of the best fighters in the world including Shavkat Rakhmonov, Ian Machado Garry, Robbie Lawler, and Rafael Dos Anjos.
Magny has wins over top prospects and veterans alike, beating Daniel Rodriguez, Mike Mallott, Phil Rowe, and Geoff Neal, who’s currently ranked #11 in the division.
Back in the win column, Magny could return to the rankings on Tuesday.
